Thomas, I hear your conclusion. Sounds like you as do many others feel like giving up on “people power” making a difference in what the government feels it has the right to impose on the people. We let them do it, really. Many people have causes. Those who are lucky enough to find a multitude of similar passionate individuals are more likely to be heard. I am thinking constantly of how to get real attention by the policy makers. We are asking you to think about what might seem ridiculous to some people. We will be creating an action page for individuals ideas and tools to help carry these thoughts into action. Push the envelope. The goal is to make our efforts far more visible. We need to get the media to have to report on what we do no matter how they report about it. We need to be part of the nation’s discussion. I am assuming that you as I believe that taxing income needs to be abolished; a national retail tax should replace it. Enter “The Fair Tax”!
